The Quincy Housing Authority is partnering with the City of Quincy’s Quincy Community Technology Integration, and Support (QTIS) department to bring technology training to elderly and family developments. This is part of citywide initiative to meet residents where they are to address their technology needs, to get people connected to the services they need to further develop tech competencies, and improve internet access among low-income households.
The Quincy Housing Authority will host QTIS at two locations–one in our Germantown neighborhood at 26 Figurehead Ln. and the other to be held at 80 Clay Street. Registered participants will receive 15 hours of FREE technology training, a FREE Chromebook and internet access. This offer is on a first-come first-served basis with a limit of 10 participants per group. Residents are expected to participate in the full 15 hours of training to be held on future dates.
