It’s back-to-school for the kids of Quincy Housing Authority this week, but QHA and our partners got together for one more day of summer fun last Friday. Families came out in droves to access critical resources, cool off with shaved ice, and participated in a water balloon toss. Lots of smiles were the story of the day and great time was had by all.
Thank you to our partners–Quincy Community Action Programs, Inc., QARI, City of Quincy, Quincy College for joining us for the event. A special thank you to Quincy Family Resource Center for providing backpacks to registered families to return to school. We appreciate the support from all of you in helping make this year’s event a success for the families of Germantown.
Lastly, thank you to our resident services team–Jaclyn Malloy, Elizabeth Jacobs, Michelle Routhier, and Christine Cunningham for assisting with event coordination. These ladies work hard each day to ensure that our residents receive the highest quality supportive services to make a difference in the lives of our families, and it shows. The QHA would like to wish our students, teachers, and parents a successful school year!
